Photo meeting concept "With love to Russia"

The Holy Royal Family is the image of Family,
the image of devotion to the people and to Russia.

"With love to Russia.

About Love according to God's commandments

to the family, to the people, to the country".

When millions of families are splitting up, thousands of the Royal Family's photographs, diaries, letters were opened in the archives.
Real people lived nearby.
Our purpose is not to praise the Royal Family - they are Saints already.
The future is not determined by economics or politics, but it is determined by morality - understanding of conscience, kindness, labor ideal ...
The Tsar and his Family life, their devotion to Russia give us the opportunity to understand the guidelines of Good and Evil.
They paid their lives to reveal: "God is Love" and "Love is stronger than death."
Our films, "With love for Russia", "The Family and Homeland from God" made with students from Zarechny, begin with the words:

"Let's think about it and understand how
the knowledge of the Holy Imperial Family can help us today".

The main idea of our photo meetings and movies is:

This is the moral education of Russian family, Russian citizen and Russian patriot. The purpose is the future of Russia. Young people make the future.

I. Upbringing children in the Royal Family.

There are the laws of God, which no man can live without.

God is love, God is the central concept of one's life.

But we often replace the main God's Commandment: "Love each other" with selfishness and don't notice how we betray each other.

I.1. Love in Tsar Nickolas Family was of a greater importance than anything fleshy. The family was built on faith and love.

From the Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna's diary: "Continuous love is a duty".
The whole family's life prove these words.

This gift is coupled with responsibility, with the rejection of self-love,

with the devotion to each other, with mutual help in all circumstances.

"None of the Royal Family members
was sorry for the lost of their position in the tragic days of the revolution. The only thing that disturbed them was fear of losing each other" (Julia Den's memories).

In the years of limbo, realizing that they were coming to the earthly end, the children did not complain but "tried to support their parents with smiles and caring. Amazing Family's bright peace of mind fascinates everyone" (from the memoirs of those who were with them).
Love helped the family to survive in the fierce hour.

I. 2. The school of love begins with the family.

Nicholas and Alexandra loved each other tenderly and gently until the end of life. For all his life Nicholas called Alexandra "Sun".

Tsar Nicholas II was born on the day of Job's suffering - 19 May.

He said he had been destined to suffer like Job, but in contrast to Job he would not get the earthly crown. And unlike Job, Nikolas received from God a faithful wife.

I. 3. Nicholas was brought up as a man

Male traits are: responsibility, generosity, self-sacrifice, will power and self-control in difficult situations.
These qualities Emperor Nicholas II developed himself.

Sovereign royally carried the burden of government, not shifting it to others.
He always assumed responsibility in the most difficult situations.
Anointed by God is responsible for his people and his country to God.

I. 4. Precise family hierarchy.

Precise family hierarchy. Man was the head, the breadwinner, the protector.
His wife was a match for the Tsar - the keeper of Orthodoxy and reliable support of her husband.

Olga - the younger sister of Nicholas II and one of the closest Nikolas's relatives, recalled: "He always came tired, exasperated. And never Alix did or said anything wrong. I like her calm motions".

Anna Vyrubova, a close friend of the Royal Family, wrote in her memoirs: "For 12 years I have never heard any loud words between them, never saw them even disgruntled against each other".

I. 5. Children were equal members of the Royal Family

Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna used to say:
"We are a single entity, we are a small strong family. Alas, this is a rare phenomenon today".

Queen thoughtfully brought up and educated her children; she and explained that the Tsar takes care of all people. Secular society, waiting for the light entertainment, spoke with indignation: "This is not the Queen, this is a mother". Parents wisely prepared children for real life, for the upcoming labor and heroism. "Children need to know that there is much grief in addition to the beauty of the world", - said the Queen-mother.

Relationship between father, mother and children were full of trustfulness and the most cordial friendship. Parents loved their children as they are, as God had created them. Everyone was brought up as a person.
The Queen-mother taught children: "The secret of happiness is the attention to each other".

I.6. Parents should be what they want to see in their children

"Parents should be what they want to see in their children" - it was not a phrase, it was the rule of the imperial couple.

Parents lit moral light on their children.

Tsar and Tsarina lived honestly and openly. In the eyes of children to make decisions. Father seriously discussed state affairs with his eldest daughter Olga, and then with his son Alex.

I. 7. From early childhood Heir said:

"When I am king, there won't be poor and unfortunate. I want everyone to be happy".

This is a prayed heir to Russia. Alex tried to imitate his father in everything: no complacency or arrogance, patience, attention to people, especially to the oppressed.
Heir suffered from hemophilia, so any trifle could be fatal for him. But parents gave their "sunbeam" freedom to do anything - they didn't want him to grow up whimsical or devoid of courage. Heir liked to play with workers' and guards' children.

Heir was a scout and a cadet.
Russia could get a magnificent smart Tsar and a wonderful person.

I. 8. Any free time King sought to spend with the family

Quiet family evenings with reading books (especially Gogol, Pushkin, Chekhov), walks, pranks, manual labor, joint visits to inspect the troops.

I. 10. The Royal children were able to be happy communicating with each other.

«Depressing children’s joy is a crime» - The Queen understood youth cheerfulness and never restrained them, when they were naughty.

Troubles and diseases especially united them, and they became support for each other.

OTMA signed their letters to the Tsarina. They always were so lively and busy.

I. 11. The Royal children surprised people with their pure heart and rejection of sins of surrounding high life

They never loved court etiquette and never put up with any lie. They experienced Spartan education. They were not supposed to be coddled princess, but worthy people.

«Grant, God, that all children morally were as high as children of the Tsar». (1917 year. Archpriest Afanasy Belyaev).

I. 12.Labour was both the need and happiness for The Royal Family

Tsarina Alexandra Fedorovna had life principle: «Life is gifted not for joy, but for labour».
Queen-Mother looked after the children to make sure they don’t waste time just sitting around. Princesses mended their clothes and young ones wore clothes of their elder siblings.
They always had a garden , which was small at first, but became quite large then.

Princesses loved to boast their grandmother, Maria Fedorovna, about beautiful garden radish, sweet carrot and cucumber.

We should understand that they were brought up in high society experiencing mocking from this society and resentment of their relatives.

In our lifetime it’s necessary to tell children that work is “Royal business”, God’s installment and is beneficial for both themselves and the other society.
Both The Royal Family and Russian people understood the value of labour: «No good without labour», «Labour feeds, laziness spoils».

I. 13.Royal Family was self-restricted with their christed simplicity in everyday life

Tsar and Tsarina never were tolerant with lavish lifestyle and taught their children to appreciate real life values. (In modern time people cannot reject their consuming materialism even for the sake of ecology).

Above all, they were simple and heartfelt with soldiers, peasants, working people, children in orphanages, injured and ill people.

Tsarina inspired their children, that for God all are the same and one shouldn’t be proud of their social status.

I. 14.There is a lot of data about the Royal Family’s charity

It wasn’t just act of charity(slice one small piece of huge cake),

but human spirit of Royal Family.

Often the Empress provided financial aid for those, who were in need, with the help of her court to keep it in secret. She organized workshops on her own savings for poor people, schools for sisters of mercy, homes and hospitals for soldiers - those who became disabled during Russian-Japanese war, introduced “White Flower” festival in Russia.

I. 15. Love for people and sense of Homeland comes from love in family

Love for people and sense of Homeland comes from love in family – willingness to protect Russian as the best. Even in peaceful time Tsar and Tsarina experienced army success as their own; they considered that Homeland doesn’t have any defence without the army.

From early age parents prepared their children for hard service of Russia. Children grew up in unity with their parents.
Royal Family gives us greatest examples of patriotism, loyalty to death to the Motherland. There is no other example of Majesty and senior Princesses aged 19 and 7 working as sisters of mercy.

Giedroyc, chief doctor of infirmary, said:: «They never played sisters of mercy as many other ladies from high society, but they were sisters of mercy in the best sense of the word.».
Princesses never even thought of their marriage outside Russia, they said that they are russian and want to spend their life only in Russia. In 1917 from Tobolsk the Princess wrote: "I thank God that he allowed to stay in Russia, …, how I want to share everything with loved ill man,... and with Motherland”.

I. 16. Infinite storehouse of love for good to study and take example from

given us in life examples: chastity, belief in triumph of goodness, patience, courage, godliness without exposing it to everyone, truthfulness, «Honor the Father and the Mother».

This is a worthy example and inspiration for happy family life.

Children always thought to ease troubles and anxieties of their parents.

Even in terrible days forgiveness and love for God’s world never disappeared and it inspired respect even to jailers..
«The higher is human, the sooner he/she must help people without exposing his/her social status. My children must be this way» - (Tsar Nikolay ||).

«Children must be taught self-restriction... They must give up their desires for the sake of other people» - (Tsarina Alexandra Fedorovna).
